    Meet Camelino

    For decades, Camelino, officially known as GAVRIIL V. TEKTERIDIS SA, has specialized in organizing and equipping facilities such as children’s nurseries, kindergartens, schools, community daycare centers, centers for individuals with disabilities, therapy centers, sports clubs, gyms, hotels, playgrounds, and children’s parks. Our company offers an enormous variety of products, which are updated annually to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

    In addition to our updated online store, each year we publish and distribute comprehensive catalogs in over 34,000 copies, covering all types (both manufactured and traded) of our company’s products, to locations throughout Greece.

    Founding of the company as a General Partnership under the name: ‘G. TEKTERIDIS & CO GP’.

    The company participated in the Inter Kid exhibition, showcasing a variety of products for equipping children’s nurseries and kindergartens.

    Expansion of the existing business premises and acquisition of additional, modern equipment with greater productive capacity, which not only improved the quality of the products but also significantly reduced production costs. The first distribution of catalogs across Greece featuring furniture for the equipment of children’s nurseries and kindergartens.

    In October 1995, a corporation was established under the name ‘GAVRIIL V. TEKTERIDIS S.A.’. Essentially, the business embarked on a new life cycle, with significantly larger and more modern mechanical equipment, a larger and more specialized staff, increased production capabilities, an enriched range of both manufactured and traded goods, and certainly with a different level of organization in all departments of the business.

    In 2000, the catalog was enriched with children’s playgrounds, psychomotor items, educational materials, and crafting supplies.

    In 2002, our company expanded by importing products from around the world and adopted the distinctive title Camelino. Additionally, the first step towards the company’s digital evolution was taken, which, in conjunction with our catalogs, led to the creation of an online store for the more immediate service of our expanded clientele, ranging from educational institutions of all levels to daycare centers, playgrounds, and individual customers.

    In 2005, the company was included in the provisions of the developmental law N 3299/2004 for the expansion of its facilities and modernization of its mechanical equipment to perfect the quality of its products.

    In 2018, sports equipment was incorporated into our company and was given its own catalog, which is distributed to elementary schools, junior high and high schools, and sports clubs throughout Greece.

    In 2023, the company evolved and updated its online store to meet the increasing demands of its customers.

    Camelino boasts one of the most modern furniture production units in Greece, manufacturing a wide range of furniture, specially designed to meet the needs of Childcare and Nursery Centers, Kindergartens, Special Schools, Elementary Schools, Tutorial Centers, Playgrounds, and more.

    Our main facilities are located in Aravissos, Giannitsa, in privately-owned buildings with a total area of 7,000 square meters, which include production space, an exhibition area, warehouses for primary and secondary materials, finished products, goods, packaging materials, as well as offices and auxiliary spaces.

    Camelino products are manufactured according to the company’s technical specifications (which comply with all EU directives for toy safety) using certified materials.

    Camelino has developed and implements an Environmental Management System that fully meets the requirements of the EN ISO 14001:2015 standard and a Quality Management System according to EN ISO 9001:2015.

    Our manufactured products include: toddler chairs and chairs in all sizes, tables of various heights, benches, bookshelves, dividers, drawer units, toddler nap beds, infant beds, work display boards, whiteboards, chalkboards, coat racks, wardrobes, office furniture, as well as corners for educational activities, like kitchen corners, easels, puppet theaters, greengrocers, shops, grocery stores, music corners, storytelling areas, dollhouses, book corners, and more.

    In addition, we import from all over the world a wide range of outdoor playground equipment such as large playground complexes, slides, playhouses, seesaws, tunnels, trampolines, sandboxes, traffic education toys, cars, bicycles, trucks, sand toys, and more.

    In our collection, you will find educational and recreational materials, such as board games, puzzles, mathematics materials, building blocks, construction materials, fitting toys, lotto games, dolls, toy strollers, infant toys, car tracks, and more.

    We offer a range of gymnastics and physical education equipment, including gymnastic apparatuses, balance paths, balls, hoops, cones, basketball hoops, balance games, parachutes, vaulting boxes, hurdles, psychomotor trolleys, football goals, and more.

    We provide a variety of equipment for Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech Therapy, including materials for sensory integration rooms, fine motor skill games, skill development tools, sensory education equipment, language development tools, sequential time training aids, therapeutic swings, psychomotor therapy games, balance games, special scissors, assistive grips, and more.

    In our store, you will also find painting and craft supplies such as tempera paints, acrylic colors, clay, playdough, felt, cardstock, colored pencils, markers, beads, charms, buttons, ribbons and cords, Christmas craft items, and more.
