The Prestan Jaw Thrust Adult Mannequin is a unique tool for training the jaw thrust technique, also known as jaw thrust, while also being a CPR and Defibrillation training mannequin!

This new and amazing product from Prestan looks and feels exactly like the company’s regular mannequin. The difference between these two mannequins is the left and right lower jaw. It is easy to use, allowing students to learn and understand how to properly perform the jaw thrust technique.

The mannequin allows students to grasp the jaw and lift it with both hands, moving it forward and backward.
The jaw thrust technique is the safest approach to opening the airway of a victim with a cervical or spinal injury because it can be achieved with minimal neck movement.

The new revolutionary CPR indicator display (LED METRONOME CPR) allows both the instructor and the trainee to be informed immediately about the depth of chest compressions and the rate. This helps each student to understand the correct range and rate of compressions during training and to self-correct. It also allows the instructor to monitor multiple students simultaneously quickly and easily from a distance. The indicators change color depending on the range and rate of chest compressions in the following way:
The metronome consists of four LEDs located on the left shoulder. When the trainee starts chest compressions, the metronome indicator turns red if the compression rate is between 0-60 compressions per minute. As the student increases the rate, the indicator changes to yellow when the rate approaches 80 compressions per minute. When the rate is between 80-100, a green light turns on. As soon as the rate becomes 100 to 120 compressions per minute, two green indicators are activated. Finally, when the rate is greater than 120 chest compressions, a yellow light flashes along with the two green indicators.
In case the depth of the compressions is not correct, all indicators are deactivated and the red LED starts flashing.
With a patent where the head tilts in order to open the airway (head extension), the PRESTAN Adult Professional Manikin simulates the way a real victim’s head will be lifted if CPR is required. The trainee’s breaths into the lung bag (adult lung simulation) are achieved only when the head is lifted in the correct way. Then and only then does the chest rise from the air entering the lung sac become apparent. In addition, the unique construction of the PRESTAN adult model incorporates a mechanism (clicker) that helps in the application of the correct force of chest compressions. This mechanism (clicker) includes an audio message of correct chest compression (mechanical click) while it is combined with the luminous metronome. Finally, the skin of the PRESTAN ADULT model, in addition to its realistic human texture, is ideal for defibrillation training with an automatic external defibrillator as it has the property of protecting the electrodes from wear in every use.

Prices and Shipping Costs

1. The prices listed on the product pages are in Euros and include the legal VAT and other components of the price.
2. Besides the listed prices, our company charges for delivery within Greece a shipping fee of 5.00 € for orders up to 149.99 € (not applicable for inaccessible areas). For online orders over 150.00 €, shipping is free (not applicable for inaccessible areas requiring transshipment).
   • For orders over 150 €:
     • If it is an inaccessible area: the customer is responsible for picking up the goods from the transport company’s offices or arranging delivery to their location at an additional charge, with prior telephone notification.
     • In case of additional shipping costs due to large order volume, you will be informed via phone or electronic correspondence about the extra cost.
   • For orders under 150 €:
     • With courier: A charge of 5.00 € plus a cash on delivery fee of 4.00 €.
     • With transport company: A charge of 10.00 €. If transshipment to the delivery address is required, you will be informed by phone about the transportation cost.
     • In case of additional shipping costs due to large order volume, you will be informed via phone or electronic correspondence about the extra cost.
3. For cash on delivery payments, the customer is charged an additional fee of 4.00 euros, collected on the spot by the deliverer. If there are other taxes or expenses, you will be informed by phone.

Delivery

1) Delivery is carried out within the Greek territory through ACS, General Post Office, ELTA Courier Door-to-Door, or by our chosen transport company.

2) The delivery time is typically 1-5 business days. If delivery times vary, you will be notified accordingly.

3) If the ordered product cannot be delivered on time due to delayed delivery from our supplier, you will be promptly informed. In such cases, you are entitled to decide whether to wait for the product or cancel your order. In case of cancellation, any exchanges already provided will be refunded without delay.

4) Shipment to the customer is made in areas covered by the company’s distribution network (transport company).
