VOLCANO CROSS-SECTION

The Volcano Cross-Section is an interactive educational model that brings geology and natural phenomena closer to children through simple and impressive experiments. Designed for children aged 5 and over, it allows them to explore how a volcano works and observe a simulated eruption using materials that are commonly found at home.

The large model presents the volcano in cross-section, revealing its interior. Children can see the position of the magma chamber and the passages through which magma moves towards the surface. In this way, geological concepts that may seem difficult to understand through a book become easier to understand through observation and play.

The volcano eruption is carried out using everyday materials, creating an impressive result that keeps children interested. The activity can be repeated many times, allowing children to observe the process each time and experiment safely under adult supervision.

The model features a built-in material collection tray and a removable lava tube, making cleaning after the experiment easier. It requires no assembly and is ready to use, while the included guide provides information about volcanoes and ideas for additional experiments.

Prices and Shipping Costs

1. The prices listed on the product pages are in Euros and include the legal VAT and other components of the price.
2. Besides the listed prices, our company charges for delivery within Greece a shipping fee of 5.00 € for orders up to 149.99 € (not applicable for inaccessible areas). For online orders over 150.00 €, shipping is free (not applicable for inaccessible areas requiring transshipment).
   • For orders over 150 €:
     • If it is an inaccessible area: the customer is responsible for picking up the goods from the transport company’s offices or arranging delivery to their location at an additional charge, with prior telephone notification.
     • In case of additional shipping costs due to large order volume, you will be informed via phone or electronic correspondence about the extra cost.
   • For orders under 150 €:
     • With courier: A charge of 5.00 € plus a cash on delivery fee of 4.00 €.
     • With transport company: A charge of 10.00 €. If transshipment to the delivery address is required, you will be informed by phone about the transportation cost.
     • In case of additional shipping costs due to large order volume, you will be informed via phone or electronic correspondence about the extra cost.
3. For cash on delivery payments, the customer is charged an additional fee of 4.00 euros, collected on the spot by the deliverer. If there are other taxes or expenses, you will be informed by phone.

Delivery

1) Delivery is carried out within the Greek territory through ACS, General Post Office, ELTA Courier Door-to-Door, or by our chosen transport company.

2) The delivery time is typically 1-5 business days. If delivery times vary, you will be notified accordingly.

3) If the ordered product cannot be delivered on time due to delayed delivery from our supplier, you will be promptly informed. In such cases, you are entitled to decide whether to wait for the product or cancel your order. In case of cancellation, any exchanges already provided will be refunded without delay.

4) Shipment to the customer is made in areas covered by the company’s distribution network (transport company).
